Elizabeth Ballis
For more than thirty years Elizabeth Ballis has brought passion and energy to help people find a place they can truly call home, and to find families to take over the homes you are leaving behind. Elizabeth Ballis knows the difference between a house and a home. She also understands current market conditions; present housing values and has access to a broad network of real estate brokers and developers.
After earning her Broker's license in 1981, Elizabeth opened Dayton Realty, Ltd., an independent real estate firm dedicated to serving the needs of the residential community in Lincoln Park, Old Town, and Lakeview. As a longtime resident of Lincoln Park, she proved uniquely suited to support the growth and expansion in that market. More and more of her clients returned to work with her again and again as their lives changed and their families grew. They moved from condos to town homes to single family dwellings, and as those clients recommended her to their friends and family, her base expanded into Bucktown, Wicker Park, West Loop, River North, Roscoe Village, Streeterville, the Near North Side, and the Gold Coast. Her knowledge of the area and involvement in the community led to her serving as the President of the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce in 1992.
After eleven years of operating independently, she merged her company into an agency that became part of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. This merger enabled Elizabeth to provide even more comprehensive service to her clients. Since joining the Coldwell Banker team, she has been one of the top five city agents for the company.

She is past co-chair of the Grievance Committee, which is part of the Professional Standards Committee.
She is a Trustee of the Chicago Association of Realtors Education Foundation and a Trustee of the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation.
A portion of all of her transactions is contributed to the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation which helps fund housing related endeavors.
